Domy s pečovatelskou službou a jejich role v životě seniorů

The bachelor´s thesis explores seniros who use the services at nursing homes. Firstly, the theoretical part looks into the ageing of the population and its charakteristice in the Czech Republic. Next, it describes old age, the process of ageing, the quality of senior´s life, the change of their needs and treatments. The finale od the theoretical part is dedicated to social services, the provision of nursing services and circumstances related to it. The research part is constructed by the qualitative analysis with the use of the etnographic method. The research part aims to describe the life of seniors living at the Dům s pečovatelskou službou Dačice where the company Ledax, o.p.s. is the provider od services. For the research, the ethnografic analysis was used by applying the technique of all participant observation and semi - structured interviews.

Business strategy planning to implement new service for the elderly - retirement homes

Planning of a business strategy for the introduction of a new service for seniors - a house for seniors The diploma thesis deals with the business plan in the area of housing for the elderly with respect to individual needs. The thesis is composed from theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic theoretical starting points and concepts of strategic management and business plan. We have worked on housing issues for seniors, including the latest trends. We describe the demographic situation and the related aging policy in the Czech Republic. In the empirical part of the thesis, we obtained data on the needs of seniors through quantitative research. The aim of the research was to find out the interest of prospective clients for services in residential facilities for the elderly. The research was carried out through distributed self-study questionnaires for seniors living in the Central Bohemia Region. On the basis of the obtained data, we were able to carry out a general and field analysis including an analysis of the internal environment. Environmental analyzes are outlined in the SWOT analysis. We then worked out a complete business plan proposal. This business plan proposal was created in the area of housing for the elderly. We called this project the Home...

The Development and Contemporary Seniors Houses in the Czech Republic, Focus to South Bohemia Region

The thesis deals with the theory of social service types with regard to the situation in České Budějovice. It includes types of social service, the development and current situation in the Czech Republic. The situation abroad is discussed as well. The Act no.108/2006 Coll., on social service is described and the part dealing with social services related to senior citizens is highlighted. The research part is aimed at assessing the quality of social service by its users and social facilities workers. The research was made by questionnaires completed with clients of retirement homes (Máj, Hvízdal and Dobrá Voda) in České Budějovice. The research revealed that clients of social services are satisfied with the quality. Their relatives were satisfied to a great extent.
